Hello Everyone!

Do you want to start your new year with a detoxification?

It’s the beginning of a brand new year! Lets kick off the New Year with detoxing our bodies to make room for new changes, a slimmer appearance, and clear complexion. We can give you some simple tips today to help you get your cleanse under way.

Here is a good recipe to start you off:

Detox Juice
Boil Cabbage, Broccoli, Carrot and Tomato in water for 10-15 minutes. Then, you make this into a juice! If the taste is bad, you can add honey or fruit that will improve the taste.
This very simple recipe is low calorie, and it will clean you out to get rid of constipation, food stagnation, and some of those extra calories you packed on during the holidays. You just drink this every day! Cabbage especially will help you stay hydrated and give you nutrition. You can even use this juice instead of your regular meal once a day to help your weight loss and digestive issues. It is important to note that boiling these foods is better because it is more nourishing boiled than as a cold or raw juice. Nourishing your body is important when detoxifying it.

Lets briefly discuss what it means to detoxify yourself. Detoxing yourself is as much a physical issue as a mental issue! When we detox, our minds and bodies detox! It starts with recognizing the mental clutter you are experiencing, and letting go of those things that don’t serve you. If you can commit to 20 minutes of meditation a day for 1 week you will feel mentally clear and rested! Also, when cleansing your body, it is important to eat as organic as possible. Try very hard not to eat out during detox and make foods at home instead that are fresh, organic, and unprocessed. Lean meats, vegetables and fruits are best. It is also important to drink a lot of water and not to consume alcohol or sugary drinks.

Here is a few more tips for detoxifying the body:

*Drink Lemon water on an empty stomach
*Eat salty nature foods like kelp, seaweed, and lean fish
*Eat, sesame, mung bean, garlic, and Reishi Mushroom dishes
*Drink strong ginger and green teas

If these tips do not help you detox and feel better, then come in to the clinic and get a treatment! We can find the root of your problem and build a treatment plan to help you detox your body to be slimmer, think clearer, have a good complexion, and reduce digestive problems.

Wishing you the best for this New Year!
